Transitioning into Autumn

It’s boiling out. No, wait, now I’m freezing! Do i take a jacket or not?!

Here in the UK, we have those annoying-as-hell couple of weeks in September, where its not quite warm enough to go out without a jacket but then its also not cold enough to wear that new winter coat you’ve just bought. However, as Autumn is among us and winter is fast approaching, I wanted to showcase my favourite comfortable, relaxed look for those days where you don’t have time to judge whether the weathers muggy or cold outside.

My favourite shop to buy transitional pieces at the moment is Zara! They never seem to let me down, no matter the season. I knew it would be dangerous just going in Zara for a browse when i meant to be saving money. DON’T TELL MY DAD he’ll give me a lecture about saving money. But of course i didn’t leave the shop without a few new purchases; my favourite being, my new pair of faux leather trousers. I have been searching for the perfect pair of leather trouser for the LONGEST time, but i could never find a pair that fit me right. What i love about these, is the fact that they are faux leather. The material gives the trousers that added stretch when you wiggling yourself into them (the stretch is also a bonus when you’ve just eaten a 3 course meal too). Unlike any other leather trousers I’ve seen, this pair also has lace detailing around the ankles which adds a more girly feel to them, which i absolutely love.

I cant wait to start shopping more, for the colder months ahead, as i love to layer my clothing. You will definitely be seeing me wear this outfit a lot as it starts to become more Autumnal.
